M/A-COM Technology Solutions has introduced a new DC–7,0 GHz GaAs broadband SPDT switch. The MASW-007921 features high power handling with P0,1 dB compression of 40,0 dBm, insertion loss of 0,7 dB with 26 dB of isolation at 3,5 GHz. The device’s blend of low cost, small size and performance make it well suited for RF switching use in voice and data applications.
The switch features a very low control current of 2,0 μA at 3,0 V, making it a good choice for WiMAX, WLAN and fixed wireless axis applications utilising CMOS and GaAs based transceivers for wireless and other battery operated communication equipment.
The MASW-007921 is packaged in a lead-free 2,0 x 2,0 mm, 8-lead PDFN package on a standard reel size of 3000 pieces. Sample test boards are available and come with 5 loose sample switches.
