Quake Global announced that its QPRO modems are compatible with the new satellite M2M platform being introduced by Inmarsat and ORBCOMM.
The QPRO is a small, rugged, multiband modem that provides a fully programmable standalone M2M solution. Quake’s patented universal communications protocol empowers customers by providing a single, uniform set of commands to seamlessly integrate terrestrial and satellite networks.
The compatibility of QPRO with the new satellite M2M platform being introduced by Inmarsat and ORBCOMM is expected to result in faster response times, broader global coverage and enhanced network reliability for asset tracking and management in areas where terrestrial coverage is not available.
