RS-485 to Wi-Fi converters

19 April 2017 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

The USR-WIFI232-604-V2 from USR IOT is used to transmit data between RS-485 and Wi-Fi (TCP/IP) networks transparently. To the user, the RS-485 side is seen only as a serial device, while the Wi-Fi side presents TCP/IP socket data. Users can set up the operating modes of the device server using simple settings via built-in web pages or the RS-485 port; this setup only needs to be done once, after which the settings will be saved.

The converter supports IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless standards, TCP/IP/UDP network protocols, router/bridge mode networking and transparent transmission mode. It measures 84 x 84 x 25 mm and is powered from a 5-9 V power supply.
