Halo Electronics has announced that its new SMT EP-7 ADSL transformer has been approved by Globespan for use with the company's FourtePlus solution in its G12 and G16 Annex A/C/H Central Office (CO) designs.
This ADSL transformer has been optimised for use with the Globespan LIU and provides superior electrical performance. It is real-estate efficient, in an 8-pin J-Lead package, and measures maximum 10,54 mm in height.
Halo engineers designed this device with supplemental insulation at 250 V working voltage to meet IEC950, UL60950 and EN60950 safety requirements.
