New covert antenna developed

Webb Industries has designed a new covert antenna to meet the needs of the automatic vehicle location (AVL) market. The new MICA antenna, designed to be disguised as a licence disc holder, can be mounted on a windscreen or any nonmetallic area of a vehicle. The standard licence disk can be displayed behind the antenna when fixed to the vehicle window and should the vehicle be stolen, the thief is unaware of the location of the antenna.

The antenna is designed for use on GSM 900-1800 and GPS systems with two separate coaxial cables.

Webb Industries has been responsible for the design and development of several unique antennas to meet the needs of the local market. It also exports antennas to a growing market in the United Kingdom and has developed specific products for the European market.
