Combination GSM and GPS vehicle antenna

Webb Industries has developed a new antenna specifically to meet the requirements of a European company involved with automatic vehicle location (AVL).

The new Venus Combination Antenna is a dual band GSM and GPS unit with both frequency bands incorporated into a single antenna. As only a single antenna has to be mounted on a vehicle, this results in greater convenience and cost savings.

The Venus is supplied with two separate coaxial cables and can be used with or without a ground plane. Roof mounting is the preferred method of fitting the antenna. The Venus combination antenna is available in a series of attractive colours to match the vehicle.

The development of this new antenna extends the range of Webb WASP antennas that are exported to the UK. The new antenna is sleeker and its low profile makes it easier to disguise whilst complementing the appearance of the vehicle.
