GSM modules pack power in small packages

Trinity Telecomms, local distributor of Wavecom products, now supplies a full range of products for all GSM applications. * Wismo Quik: an all-purpose GSM/GPRS solution. With a full range of voice, data, fax, and SMS options, it can handle virtually any application. It is also fully-compatible and upgradeable with future Wismo Quik products due to an identical mechanical footprint and hardware and software interfaces.

Key product features: dual band GSM/GPRS module; compliant with ETSI GSM Phase 2+; Class 4 (2 W @ 900 MHz); Class 1 (1 W @ 1800/1900 MHz); 3,6 V d.c; 300 mA average current in use; dimensions 58 x 32 x 6,5 mm.

* Integra: this internal modem packs everything needed for wireless capability into one compact unit, which means that a fully type-approved GSM/GPRS modem can be installed in an application without increasing a product's time to market. It uses Wismo wireless technology to provide complete dual-band GSM/GPRS capabilities.

Key product features: dual band integrated GSM modem; fully type approved; Compliant with ETSI GSM Phase 2+; Class 4 (2 W @ 900 MHz); Class 1 (1 W @ 1800/1900 MHz); 5 V d.c./1A; 310 mA average current; dimensions 46 x 64 x 12 mm.

* Fastrack: Housed in a rugged metallic casing, the external Fastrack modem is built to withstand tough environments. With proven Wismo technology, the modem can be relied on for enduring performance.

Key product features: dual band GSM modem designed for data, fax, SMS and voice applications; fully type approved; fully compliant with ETSI GSM phase 2+ specifications; operating temperatures -20 to +55°C; dimensions 98 x 54 x 25 mm.
