Antenna developed for European tracking industry

Webb Industries has introduced a new antenna for the European vehicle tracking industry. For use in asset tracking, the company's MiniMica is a glass or covert-mount GPS and dual band GSM antenna that can be mounted beneath the vehicle dashboard or anywhere in the vehicle where there is no satellite interference.

The introduction of the MiniMica follows research and development by Webb to find a solution to meet the specific requirements of the international vehicle tracking industry. The company has already developed five main antenna models, each of which has another five derivatives for overseas markets. These have been developed for different fits on various vehicles and for external or covert interior application. The covert fits are specifically designed to eliminate any possible tampering.

Webb Industries is a leading supplier to the asset tracking industry in Europe and Australia and is currently expanding into the US market where major growth is anticipated. The company says its technology is proven in the local market and has met with the most stringent international requirements and specifications.
