The Apex TG.66 from Taoglas is a terminal-mount monopole antenna designed to cover all global 5G/4G frequencies between 600 MHz and 6 GHz. It has an omnidirectional radiation pattern and provides an efficiency of more than 45%.
The antenna has a sleek design and can be mounted in areas with limited space. It has a rotatable 90° hinged SMA male connector that allows the antenna to be rotated into the preferred orientation to avoid other antennas or objects. This also helps with isolation by pointing the antennas in different directions when used in MIMO systems or when other antennas are present on the same device.
The Apex TG.66 is available in a miniature form factor that measures 70,3 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter. and is ideal for gateways and routers, IoT sensors, public safety and security, point-of-sale terminals, smart home automation and robotics/autonomous applications.
