Global antenna solution provider and IoT specialist Taoglas has joined Nordic Semiconductor’s rapidly expanding Nordic Partner Programme (NPP) as a design and solution partner. The addition of Taoglas to the NPP will provide Nordic customers with access to the company’s comprehensive portfolio of antenna designs, as well as engineering expertise to help OEMs optimise RF and antenna performance for their wireless design.
Taoglas can provide support to companies at any stage of product development, from initial system requirements to a final optimised board design ready for carrier certification. In addition to antenna solutions, Taoglas also offers Nordic customers a range of other services including turnkey cellular IoT hardware design.
“Optimising antenna performance for a cellular IoT product can be extremely challenging, and it is important that developers follow certain guidelines to maximise the antenna’s efficiency and overall frequency response,” said Lorenzo Amicucci, business development manager, Nordic Semiconductor. “With Taoglas now joining the Nordic Partner Programme, our customers will benefit not only from the company’s antenna expertise but will also have access to custom antenna design as well as off-the-shelf antenna selection, optimisation and pre-certification services.”
