Taoglas has added the Storm MA412 LTE MIMO screw-mount antenna to its extensive range of antenna solutions. At only 30 mm high, applications for this omnidirectional solution include HD video streaming, intelligent transport systems, Internet of Things and M2M wireless devices, and digital signage.
The Storm MA412 operates between 698 MHz and 2700 MHz, covering the vast majority of the globe’s LTE bands, and is an aerodynamically designed IP67 solution. It boasts stable wideband LTE performance with average efficiencies across all bands of 53% (MIMO 1) and 58% (MIMO 2).
Its streamlined look makes this antenna unobtrusive; when screwed down and adhered using the specialised underbody closed cell foam and 3M tape, it is highly resistant to tampering and vandalism. It comes with its own integral ground-plane, meaning it can be mounted anywhere.
The MA412 is the vanguard product in what will be a series of Storm antennas; soon to be launched will be the 4-in-1 MA410 with LTE MIMO plus GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou plus Iridium, and the 3-in-1 MA411 with LTE MIMO plus GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou, with other combinations to follow. It is available with a wide range of connector options.
