Semtech expanded its RFIC platform with the new SX1232, a fully integrated sub-GHz RF transceiver aimed at smart metering, security system, remote access, sensor networks and home/building automation. The device delivers adjacent channel selectivity (54 dB) sensitivity of -123 dBm @ 1,2 Kbps, image rejection of 48 dB with 1% PER, and phase noise of -102 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset (at 915 MHz) for low receive current of 9,3 mA. With the highest gain and maximum sensitivity, IIP3 performance is -12 dBm. The SX1232 offers an integrated +20 dBm amplifier coupled with a sensitivity of
-123 dBm at 1,2 Kbps providing a typical link budget of 143 dB. The SX1232 supports GFSK, FSK, GMSK and OOK modulation and is designed to support multiple worldwide standards.
