The iConnector is a wireless Internet adapter from Connect One that enables any device to access the Internet with a minimum of time, effort and cost. It provides a broad range of Internet services as it mediates the connection between the host device and the Internet. It also relieves the manufacturer of the necessity to incur the cost and risks of a major hardware redesign and rewrite of the application.

The Internet engine inside iConnector is iChip, Connect One's field-proven solution that has been deployed in more than 40 countries and working today with hundreds of ISPs all over the world. As an off-the-shelf solution, the iConnector eliminates the need for the customer to develop his own Internet connectivity solution. Only a few commands are needed to add the full Internet protocol stack and device configuration parameters to the host application.

The iConnector is a compact adapter, measuring 43 x 69 x 20 mm and as such is ideal for installation on mobile products or in remote locations. Various versions of iConnector are available: models for DTE-DCE or DCE-DCE configuration; one that takes power from an external power supply and one that is powered by host device via pin 9 of the host DB-9 connector; and units for either industrial or commercial temperature ranges.
